Version 1.0 • Effective: 1 September 2026
These Terms govern independent Drop-off Point Operators accessing the TamTrak Platform. By accessing the Platform and providing Drop-off Point services, you agree to these Terms. In the event of conflict with your Drop-off Point Partner Agreement, the Agreement prevails.
Article 1 — TamTrak’s Role as a Platform
TamTrak operates exclusively as a technology platform and Co-logistics marketplace. It does not own, operate, employ, or control any Carriers, Hubs, or Drop-off Points. All Drop-off Point Operators are independent businesses with their own staff and premises. TamTrak sets minimum Platform standards, provides Partner App access, processes payments, and offers tracking and customs support.
Article 2 — Definitions
Platform : TamTrak technology marketplace, operated by TamTrak
Partner App : Mobile/tablet application used to process Shipments and record Custody Transfers
Drop-off Parcel : Pre-labelled parcel deposited by a customer for onward transit
Pickup Parcel : Parcel delivered by a Carrier for recipient collection at the Drop-off Point
Notification Code : Unique code sent to recipient for parcel collection
Handling Fee : Fee paid by TamTrak per Drop-off or Pickup parcel, as set out in the Partner Agreement
Custody Transfer : Moment when Platform responsibility passes between Partners, evidenced by QR Event in the Partner App
Article 3 — Independent Status of Partner
Drop-off Point Operators are independent businesses, not TamTrak employees, agents, or subsidiaries. Partners are responsible for employing and managing their own staff; compliance with all local laws, employment, and health and safety regulations; securing their premises and TamTrak Shipments; and maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Article 4 — Setting Up as a Drop-off Point
4.1 Partner App and Onboarding
The Partner must install and log in to the Partner App using credentials provided by TamTrak, complete the onboarding tutorial, and display the TamTrak Drop-off Point sticker in a visible location.
4.2 Designated Storage Area
A secure, staff-only storage area must be maintained for TamTrak parcels. The area must be dry, at normal indoor temperature, and of sufficient size as agreed in the Partner Agreement.
4.3 Operating Hours
Partners must keep their operating hours updated in the Partner App within 24 hours of any change.
Article 5 — Accepting Drop-off Parcels (Custody Transfer In)
5.1 Acceptance Process
To accept a Drop-off Parcel: ask the customer for their booking QR code; verify identity if appropriate; open the Partner App, select ‘Accept Drop-off’, and scan the parcel QR code. The QR Event constitutes Custody Transfer to the Partner. Place the parcel in the designated storage area immediately.
5.2 Checks Before Accepting
Before accepting a parcel, the Partner must confirm: a correct TamTrak label with a visible QR code is affixed; packaging is undamaged; the parcel is within the maximum size and weight limits; and there are no visible signs of prohibited contents.
5.3 When to Refuse
The Partner must refuse a parcel if: the QR code is missing or unreadable; packaging is visibly damaged or leaking; maximum storage capacity has been reached; the Partner App returns an error; or prohibited contents are suspected. Valid refusals are not penalised and are not eligible for Handling Fees.
Article 6 — Releasing Parcels to Carriers (Custody Transfer Out)
Carrier identity must be verified in the Partner App before release. The Carrier must scan the parcel QR code to record Custody Transfer. Parcels must not be released to any individual not verified as an authorised Carrier in the Partner App. If a Carrier does not arrive for a scheduled collection, TamTrak support must be contacted and custody retained until the QR Event is recorded.
Article 7 — Storing and Releasing Pickup Parcels
7.1 Receiving Pickup Parcels
When a Carrier delivers a parcel for recipient collection, the Carrier scans the QR code to transfer custody to the Partner. The parcel status becomes ‘Awaiting Recipient’.
7.2 Releasing to Recipients
The recipient’s Notification Code and identity must be verified before release. Release must be confirmed in the Partner App to record Custody Transfer. Parcels must never be released without a valid Notification Code.
7.3 Uncollected Pickup Parcels
Parcels uncollected for 10 days will be flagged by TamTrak, which will coordinate collection or return. Partners will not be penalised for holding uncollected parcels for up to 30 days. If a parcel remains uncollected beyond 30 days, the Partner must notify TamTrak immediately. TamTrak will arrange collection within 5 business days of notification. The Partner is not liable for uncollected parcels beyond 30 days provided TamTrak has been notified.
Article 8 — Parcel Care During Custody
All parcels in custody must be stored in the designated secure area. Parcels must not be stacked on fragile items, exposed to moisture, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or food areas. Damaged parcels must be photographed and reported immediately. Partners must never open, repack, or reapply labels to any parcel.
Article 9 — Prohibited Items
Firearms, weapons, drugs, explosives, and other illegal items are prohibited. If a parcel is suspected to contain prohibited items, it must be segregated and secured, TamTrak notified immediately, and authorities contacted if there is any safety risk.
Article 10 — Fees and Payment
Handling Fees are as specified in the Partner Agreement. Monthly statements are issued by the 5th of each month; payment is made by the 10th. Late payments accrue interest at the applicable statutory rate. Fee disputes must be raised with dropoffs@tamtrak.com within 30 days of the relevant statement.
⚑ For Partners outside France, the applicable statutory interest rate will be that of the jurisdiction in which the Partner operates, unless otherwise agreed in the Partner Agreement.
Article 11 — Prohibited Actions
Partners must not: charge customers for TamTrak services; open, inspect, or photograph the contents of any parcel; share customer information with any third party; allow unauthorised staff to access TamTrak parcels; dispose of, redirect, or make use of any parcel; or post publicly about parcels or customers without TamTrak’s written consent.
Article 12 — Branding
The TamTrak Drop-off Point sticker must be displayed at all times during the term of the Agreement. Branding materials must be updated within 30 days of any TamTrak-issued update. On termination, all TamTrak branding must be removed and materials returned.
Article 13 — Liability
The Partner is liable for loss or damage to Shipments during active custody caused by negligence, up to a maximum of €150 per parcel. QR Event timestamps are the primary evidence of custody. The Partner is not liable for: theft where reasonable security precautions have been taken and documented; Carrier transit damage occurring after the outbound QR scan; or customs delays. Partners are advised to verify that their existing insurance covers goods-in-custody (bailment).
⚑ The €150 per-parcel liability cap for Drop-off Points is lower than the €2,000 cap applicable to Hubs and Carriers, reflecting the limited custody and storage obligations of Drop-off Point Operators. This limit is acknowledged in the Shipment Liability & Compensation Policy.
Article 14 — Data Protection
Partners may access limited customer data (parcel reference, first name, and Notification Code) solely for the purpose of fulfilling their custody obligations. This data must not be written down, photographed, or shared. TamTrak processes all personal data under GDPR and its Privacy Policy. Data protection enquiries: privacy@tamtrak.com.
Article 15 — Term, Suspension, and Termination
These Terms apply for the duration of the Partner Agreement. TamTrak may suspend Partner App access where there is evidence of: tampering with parcels; charging customers for TamTrak services; repeated customer complaints; or safety concerns. Written reasons will be provided within 48 hours of suspension.
15.1 Right of Appeal
A Partner may appeal a suspension decision within 14 days of receiving written notice by contacting operations@tamtrak.com. TamTrak will review the appeal and provide a written decision within 10 business days. Pending appeal, access may remain suspended where immediate suspension was required on safety grounds.
On termination, the Partner must remove all TamTrak branding, release or return all Shipments in custody as directed by TamTrak, and cease all use of the Partner App.
Article 16 — Dispute Resolution
Disputes should be raised via operations@tamtrak.com. TamTrak will respond within 7 business days. Unresolved disputes may be referred to mediation via Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SCC). If mediation fails, disputes may be brought to the competent courts in accordance with Article 17.
Article 17 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
The courts of Sweden shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including their interpretation, performance, validity, or termination. Mandatory laws and regulations applicable to the Hub and its operations in the jurisdiction where the Hub is located shall apply to the extent they cannot lawfully be excluded or varied by agreement.
